See the Cisco Connected Ambulance at the Connected City

In May 2013, Cisco will be driving a connected ambulance 2000 miles from Sichuan to the GSMA Connected City at Mobile Asia Expo in Shanghai. They will be stopping along the way to demonstrate how technology can help connect the unconnected. The ambulance is similar to those they donated to the Sichuan Provincial Government in the wake of the devastating 2008 earthquake. They were used as part of a program of rebuilding and improving local education and healthcare systems in the province, by providing a platform through which experts could give advice to the remote province from urban centres.
We invite you to come and see the Cisco connected ambulance at the Connected City!

Joins us for the Ford Connected Car Experience

Ford will also be joining the GSMA Connected City at Mobile Asia Expo to feature their latest in-vehicle technology.

Connected City at Mobile World Congress 2013
The GSMA built its first Connected City at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this past February. While the MAE city will have different partners and feature different connected technology, the MWC Connected City can give you a taste of what to expect in Shanghai.
The GSMA Connected City at MWC featured partnerships with AT&T, Deutsche Telekom, GSMA, KT, Telenor and Vodafone. It included a connected café, hotel, apartment, car showroom, office, town hall, department store, mobile shop and electrical store that all featured the latest connected technology. These features highlighted innovations like a connected Aston Martin bicycle that tracks your health, a robotic virtual teacher, and an electric scooter for smart city transportation, as well as other cutting-edge connected solutions.
